Stefano's work takes place in a unique territory, characterized by ponca soil (sandstone rock) which, together with the climate, creates the backbone of his wines. Stefano interprets his land and history with great intuitive ability and re-invents Friuli tradition with innovation and dedication to high quality. The wines are obtained from hand selected, healthy grapes grown in grassy vineyards with no intervention from chemical fertilizers and herbicides.  In the cellar, the wine making process uses absolutely no enzymes, no selected yeasts, and no added sulfites. All the work focuses on long maceration time with the skins, producing wines with intense color and ageing potential.  Allow for slight cloudiness as wines undergo neither filtration nor clarification.
