There is a lot of history behind the "Castello di Verduno" company, which is currently owned by Gabriella Burlotto and Franco Bianco. The great history of the Savoy dynasty and King Carlo Alberto, as well as the private history of the Burlotto and Bianco families, became intertwined around a single abiding passion for the noblest of vines: Nebbiolo. After fifteen years spent in Eritrea, in 1950 Commendatore Giovanni Battista Burlotto returned to Verduno and decided to create a food and wine hospitality center for guests. Now the Commendatore's three daughters and their respective families passionately dedicate their time to the Verduno Castle, now a stunning hotel, restaurant, cellar and farmhouse.
