This splendid wine is born from grapes grown in one of the most famous and celebrated areas of Barbaresco. The delightful exposure of the old vines and the composition of the calcareous-clay soil ensure that this wine is positioned in the top quality of this prestigious appellation. Barbaresco Rabajà is a wine with a full and elegant structure that is worthy of lengthy aging. It is aged in large barrels for 21 months.
Description
Tasting Notes
Between ruby and garnet. On the nose a magical duel is enacted between the salty, almost marine notes (the Langhe, millennia ago, were submerged beneath the sea) and the sweeter, fruity and spicy ones, reminiscent of currant jelly. On the palate the wine is magically stretched and rounded. Long persistence with notes that recall the aromas of rose.
Food Pairing
Stuffed rolled beef, or fillet of beef with truffles.
