Gualdo del Re was born of Nico Rossi’s childhood dreams. Founded in 1953 in Suvereto, a medieval village nestled in the hills of the Tuscan Maremma, the winery has created generations of winemakers who still characterize it today as a family business. Gualdo del Re enjoys a unique microclimate. The vineyards are located in low rolling hills on pebbly, clay soils with limited fertility. The territory of Suvereto is an ecological gem with a strong propensity for great Tuscan red wines of exceptional structure.
