A family farm for generations, Lieselehof is presently managed by Werner Morandell, his wife Claire, and their sons Maximilian and Julian.  Nestled on the slopes of the Mendola Pass, with historic vineyards located between 220 and 1250 meters above sea level, they produce a range of wines obtained from plants between ten and forty years old.

Yields per hectare are carefully limited and vineyard management employs uncompromising biological dynamics. The use of chemicals is disdained, instead focusing on an important patrimony of pathogen-resistant vines, developed by crossing different grapes in order to naturally resist most parasites.
