The ancient castle of Uviglie is a 13th century Piedmontese fortress located in Rosignano Monferrato in the province of Alessandria. It began as feudal stronghold and with the succession of different noble Piedmontese dynasties it underwent many changes to the property. Lupano Simone turned it into a winery in 1978 and translated his family´s over 500 years of experience into an energetic company that manages over 120 hectares of terrain, 25 of which is cultivated with vineyards.
