About Us

My name is Raffaele and I’m a winegrower in Chianti Classico, just outside Florence, where I manage a small estate with my wife Ilaria. I’ve lived here for about 15 years now. Ilaria introduced me to the world of wine, and I fell in love with Tuscany and its fruits – above all, grapes. 

I built up this website during the times I couldn’t work on the land: the long winter evenings, or the hottest hours of the day in summer, and all those times when the vines need to be left in peace and quiet. 

My other great interest is the digital sector, the technology and potential of the internet applied to promoting and selling our product. 

I’ve always believed in this new commercial method, and with various experiences behind me in the world of traditional sales, e-commerce has offered me an opportunity to put producers in contact with the final clients, without intermediaries: a direct sales system which brings many winegrowing estates together on one website, mostly family-run like my own, with passion and determination, emerging on increasingly sophisticated and competitive markets. 

There is strength in numbers, even among small estates like ours.
