Marco is a true Trentino DOC just like his wines.  Marco and Rosanna, his delightful, smiling wife, refer to themselves as “vine growers for passion.”  They have a profound love for their work and the land they cultivate and they are lyrical when they speak of the poetry, soul and character of their territory and their wines.  Five mountains encircle their vineyards, bisected by the shining ribbon of the Adige River and caressed by gentle winds coming from Lake Garda to the south.   

Marco has contributed a continuous and maniacal search for perfection.  His ambition is to create a strong image of his territory in the Val Lagarina and the potential he believes the wines can express. He was the first in Trentino to produce a pinot grigio in the “orange” style and his affinity and love for pinot nero is also remarkable.  Marco says of this international grape, “it is a continuous challenge, to be neck and neck with its personality and yours. . . .it is the least tameable of wines, with all your skills and abilities as a vine grower and winemaker at stake.”
