FAMILY – A dozen years ago, Cristina Zanotto and Gelmino Dal Bosco created Battistelle, a young Brognoligo reality.  The Battistelle is located in a small town behind Monteforte, Verona the area where Soave Classico is made and where vineyards occupy almost the whole territory.

VINEYARDS – The 6 hectares of vineyards managed by Gelmino,  Cristina and their two children Andrea and Gloria, are located on a very steep area behind Monteforte that sometimes makes it almost dangerous to work. Pruning to harvesting are done manually due to the steep location. The historical fragmentation of the land forces the family to continue moving from one area to another.
Garganega is raised on volcanic soil rich of basalt and large presences of black and red lava stones. The territory is the central element of their philosophy.

WINES – These wine blends have Garganega as their base. Due to the volcanic soil that dominates the area, these wines have very strong flavor, which is condensed with exotic aromas to make a perfect wine palate.  In the cellar, they try, above all, to preserve the aroma of the grapes through a strict control of temperatures and maceration.
