Due to the careful and responsible use of natural resources, Sergio equates his company with the porcupine, a sober animal with refined tastes that lives exclusively in places where there is an ecological balance. Bordered by the hills and clay gullies of Civitella d’Agliano and the Umbrian plain washed by the Tiber River, the estate has belonged to the Mottura family since 1933, free from urban and industrial settlements. Its terroir is among the areas most suited to the production of Grechetto grapes.
