Cesanese grapes grown in the cru vineyard called Morra Rossa, 2 hectares composed of loose limestone soils of marine origin. Vinification and aging in steel for 12 months, then another 2 years in large barrels.
Description
Tasting Notes
Clear and consistent ruby red color. An intense and complex nose with notes of ripe red fruits, cherries, blackberries and plums, combined with hints of sweet tobacco, black pepper and carob. Aromas of resin and a balsamic sensation. On the palate the wine is pleasantly warm and soft, with an important boost of freshness and a nice savory finish. The tannins are velvety and well integrated into the body. Clean and long persistence including a return of the balsamic element.

Lamb chop with a pistachio crust.
