To create Asti Spumante, during the fermentation phase the alcohol level is halted when it reaches 7% volume. The wine has a pressure of at least 4 atmospheres (ATM) which gives it a more lively effervescence. The vines are approximately 30 years old; the first year of production was in 1991. Vinification and maturation in steel.
Description
Tasting Notes
Straw-colored with golden specks of light and fine, copious bubbles. Scents of little white roses, mimosa, peach, sambuco, sage, and honey. Pleasant on the palate, vivacious; simultaneously fresh and sweet with a persistent citrus note.
