Il Fric is a sparkling wine made using the same ancestral method as La Matta, second fermentation in the bottles without the addition of sugars and yeasts. The basic wine is obtained exclusively from Aglianico grapes, pressed whole without destemming. Again, fresh must is used for the second fermentation. The wine does not undergo disgorgement and is presented whole, on its own natural yeasts.

Tasting Notes
Lustrous cherry red with coral hues. The nose releases appealing aromas of cherries, red berries, blood oranges, pink grapefruit, geraniums and subtle vegetal notes. Creamy prickle streaked through with stylish tanginess and echoes of fruit.
Food Pairing
Snails with tomato, fried vegetables.
