Poggio Pinzo encompasses various longterm projects, such as the development of the Ciliegiolo varietal and the employment of different vinification techniques. Pedro Parra, the consulting agronomist, leads research to improve winemaking results from volcanic soil. Vinified in ceramic jars from Impruneta where it also ages for 12 months.
Description
Tasting Notes
Translucent ruby red. Strong impact of mulberries and currents, underbrush herbs, red pepper, peony, and intriguing mineral notes. Powerful and warm, it finds it elegance in a well-structured framework. Saline finish and moderately long finish.
