Vermentino from the vineyards located in the most suitable areas of the Bonassola hills, on the Ligurian coast. Soils of clayey composition, medium-textured, of volcanic origin. Vinification and maturation in steel for 6 months.
Description
Tasting Notes
The wine takes its name from the “shimmering” straw yellow color. A bouquet of citrus, sunny and summery, sees alternating notes of lime, grapefruit and cedar softened by whisps of yellow peach. An almost tangible saline note, suggesting the scents of the Mediterranean scrub. Very fresh on the palate, but soft and enveloping, savory and reminiscent of the sea in the finish.
Food Pairing
Tortelli with potatoes and bacon with butter and sage.
