Vineyard location

Lunarossavini was founded in 2006 in Giffoni Valle Piana, in the province of Salerno, and is the sincere and dynamic expression of a luxuriant area of evocative beauty: the Picentini Mountains, overlooking the Amalfi and Cilento coasts, whose sea breezes influence the limestone and clay soil.

Production philosophy

On one hand, the firm intention to preserve the past, traditions and ancestral soul; on the other, a strong desire for innovation, knowing that there is no progress without starting from tradition. Great attention is given to maintaining a low environmental impact in the vineyard. 

The mission is to enhance the value of native varieties, such as Fiano and Aglianico above all, while at the same time experimenting with international varieties and pursuing new vinification methods: Quartara, for example, is a Fiano fermented in amphoras with maceration on the skins.
