In 1960 Sante Giulio Strologo managed to acquire the land he had been working on for a lifetime. His son Silvano, with the same love of the land but a more modern vision of viticulture, led the company in a constant search for quality, ultimately achieving his goal very successfully. Yields have decreased considerably and, in the cellar, thanks to the historic collaboration with his friend Giancarlo Soverchia, the manufacturing processes have adapted to the most modern techniques and continue to experiment with new ones. There are two vineyards: the historic one, near the winery with Montepulciano plants over 40 years of age; and not far away, another 10 hectares are being added, with plantings to include Incrocio Bruni, Moscato, and Malvasia. The cellar has also been modernized with temperature-controlled stainless steel fermenters and conical oak vats. The result is a structured production that fully reflects the character of this territory.
