“A sip of the past, with a look to the future,” is the catchphrase used by this highly-manicured Bolgheri winery. Alessandro Scappini has held the reigns of the family estate for the past ten years transforming the land, with good reason for this area, to produce premium wines and olive oil. The property sits on the Segalari hill overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and is very close to the celebrated cypress-lined Bolgheri road that was made famous by the Italian poet Carducci. The family passion is concentrated in these three wines which display expertise added by enologists Laura Zuddas and Attilio Pagli.
