In 1999 Anna Muzzolini made a drastic life choice, abandoning test tubes and labs at the University of Ferrara, where she had graduated as a biologist.  She returned to her homeland in Friuli, where her father had begun a vineyard in the 1970’s. For 20 years now, she has managed the company 360° with a clear goal: to improve at each harvest by betting on the great potential of the Prepotto area. It is an enchanted place, off the beaten track, but the work is demanding, leaving her no time left for anything else -- she calls it "my golden prison" which repays her with unique satisfactions. Her most recent joy was welcoming her son Mattia as a fellow privileged “prisoner” in the winery.
