Freisa d’Asti Superiore Arvelè 2017

Freisa grapes are grown on historic vineyards in the Cornareto hills at 350 m above sea level with southern exposure. Extremely careful work in the vineyard produces low yields and allows for the grapes to fully mature, almost to the point of becoming raisins. The wine spends time in barrique and first or second-passage barrels, resulting in an unexpectedly great softness and luscious fruit.
