Vuillermin is an auctonous red varietal of Valle D’Aosta; in years past it risked going extinct and today is present in just a few zones in the province of Aosta. La Vrille cultivates Vuillermin in the vineyard facing south in the town of Verrayes, at an altitude of 650 m. Aged for one year in the barrel followed by 24 months in the bottle.

Tasting Notes
Luminous ruby red. Intense perfumes of wild berries, currants, blueberries, followed by humus, sweet spices, and a pleasant toasty note. Soft and enveloping; gifted with a lively freshness and intriguingly well-structured tannins.

Aged Alpeggio Cheese.
